2025 Black SEL Summit Award Nomination

Thank you for your interest in the Black SEL Summit 2025!
Since its inception just three years ago, the Black SEL Summit has brought together over 500 individuals to explore culturally affirming Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) within Black communities. Over three days, the summit highlights the work of Black educators, community leaders, and key stakeholders who are actively implementing SEL in schools and communities.
Our central focus is fostering the sustainability of SEL practices within Black communities and addressing existing gaps in the field’s literature. All applicants should be actively engaged in or have contributed to initiatives related to Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). Our goal is to spotlight Black leaders, educators, parents, and community advocates for their dedication to advancing SEL within Black communities.
